Teach a dog to spin in a circle

Teaching your pet tricks can be a fun activity for both. This can strenghthen the bond between you and your dog. Teaching him tricks is a task easier than it seems, it just takes a lot of patience and consistency. To sta you can try with simpe tricks and then increase the difficulty. One of the easiest tricks to teach is to spin in a circle. Folllow the next steps and you will see tht you will achieve your goal in very short time.

STEP 1: Let your dog sniff out a treat in your hand. It could be a cookie or maybe a piece of meat. You could also try with a toy that he likes.

STEP 2: Move your arm in a big circle around your dog, do it slowly and while you do it repeat the word "spin". Your tone of voice has to be clear and strong, but make sure you dont scare your dog.

STEP 3: Encourage your dog to follow his nose to spin in a circle, and reward him with the treat. You could try by placing the toy or teat near his nose and then moving it quickly forming a circle.

STEP 4: Once your dog understand the trick, try by using only the word "spin" or just making a circular hand or arm gesture. If your pet makes the trick you reward him after he spins. It is imporant that you contsanlty cheer him up with joy and make sure that both are having fun.

STEP 5: Practice the trick as much as you can. Dont forget to be clear while you pronounce the word and try to always say it with the same tone of voice so your dog will understand what to do when he listens to you.
